Itinerary

Day 1: The Mutianyu Great Wall and the Summer Palace

8:00-The professional English-speaking guide and the driver pick you up from the airport.

9:00-11:00-Get to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Take the chairlift to the tower and walk and hike for 2 hours then go down on the funny toboggan.

11:30-14:00-Have authentic Chinese lunch in local restaurant on the way to the Summer Palace.

14:00-15:00-Take a walk in the imperial park with lake, bridges, enjoy the painting on the long corridor.

16:00-Drop off in the hotel.

Day 2: The Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Hutong and the Temple of Heaven

8:30-The professional English-speaking guide and the driver pick you up from the hotel.

9:00-11:30-Drive to the Tian'anmen Square and walk to the Forbidden City. The guide will share all relavant information about the history, construction, tradation, daily life in the imperial city.

11:30-13:00-Have authentic Chinese lunch in local restaurant on the way to the Summer Palace.

13:00-14:00-Take a rickshaw in the Hutong (old city) and visit local courtyard to have indept understand of the real local people's life.

14:00-14:30-Drive to the Temple of Heaven.

14:30-15:30-Visit the biggest heaven worshipping Temple which was also built 600 years for emperor to pray for good harvest.

16:00-Drive back to hotel.
