Itinerary

Day 11st Day The Forbidden City, the Hutong, the Temple of Heaven

  • 8:00-8:30: The professional English-speaking guide and the driver pick you up at the hotel and drive to the Tian'anmen Square.

  • 9:00-11:30: Walking through the whole square from the ancient city gate, you will have in-depth understanding of the planning for the ancient city. The openness of the Changan Avenue redefines the wideness of street and take a picture with the back ground of Tian'anmen Gate is quite iconic. Then the vast Forbidden City shows up. It was built more than 600 hundreds years ago with an area of 960 meter*720 meter / ( feet), served for 24 emperors in Ming and Qing Dynasty.

  • 12:00 Have lunch in a local Chinese restaurant.

13:00 Drive to Hutong (old residential area), where the transport change into a delightful rickshaw! The 30-minutes' rickshaw tour stops at a local family where our special guests get insight into the home settings, life, and culture of traditional Beijingers.

14:00 Head to Temple of Heaven, the largest Imperial place of worship from ancient times. This special place becomes a park where the local community utilizes this beautiful and enormous space for social activities such as singing, dancing, and Tai Chi practice.

16:00 Drive you back to hotel.

Day 22nd Day The Mutianyu Great Wall and Olympic Stadium

8:00: The professional English-speaking guide and the driver pick you up from the airport.

9:00-11:00: Get to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Take the chairlift to the tower and walk and hike for 2 hours then go down on the funny toboggan.

11:30-12:30: On the way back to downtown, visit the Beijing Olympic Stadium, the Bird Nest and Water Cube. Then drive back to the hotel in down town.

Day 33rd Day Summer Palace, Lama Temple, the Confucius Temple, and Beijing Zoo

8:00: The guide and the driver pick you up from the hotel.

9:00-11:00: Drive to the Summer Palace, it's a summer resort for Imperial Family Members which is considered to be the best-preserved imperial park..

11:30-12:30: Visit the Panda hall of Beijing Zoo. Beijing Zoo is the first city center zoo in China and you can see some pandas playing around.

13:00-14:00 Have a lunch.

14:00: Visit the most popular Buddist temple, Lama Temple.

15:00: Visit the Confucius Temple which is was built over 800 years ago and served for emperors in 3 dynesties. 

16:00: Drive back to the hotel in down town.

Trip Notes

  • The Tiananmen Square could be closed due to special events then you will walk around to have a look.

  • It's required to book the The Tiananmen Square at least one day before although it is free.

  • The Forbidden City is not open on Monday. The tickets booking is available 7 days before and could be hard to book in the weekend and public holiday like the National Day and the Chinese New Year.

  • It is highly suggested to book the Forbidden City ticket in advance by providing name and passport number since limited tickets are released each day.

  • The itinerary is flexible according to your personal interests, the weather or any unexpected conditions. The order of places can be changed according to the traffic and your preference.

  • You will have authentic Chinese lunch in restaurant for the locals with great dishes. If you prefer other options, please ask the guide to arrange within the budget and cover the cost difference above our budget.

  • No forced shopping or factory visiting during the trip.
