the Mutianyu Great Wall
This section is most popular one for foreigners. Compared to other sections, you don't see so many crowds, it's accesible ever for elders and the view is amaizing when you stand on the top of watch tower. More fun makes here is the top choice when you go down by tobaggan(chair-lift up, tobaggan down).
2. Jinshanling Great Wall
This section cost longest driving time to but the view is not comparable. It's quite easy to climb to the tower and walk on the wall. It's also the easy section for hikers as it take only 2.5-3 hours to finish it. Among all walls, here is the paradise for photographors. The sun set is iconic. See sun set tour.
3. Huanghuacheng Lakeside Great Wall
This section stands next to a lake
4. Juyong Guan
If you don't hve much time, for instance, only about 4 hours or half day bacause there is a commercial meeting need to attend. This section is the best choice as it takes least driving time to and car park is just outside the wall, there is no need to take shuttle bus or take cable car. See Juyongguan half-day tour.
5. Badaling Great Wall
This section enjoys most popularity among Chinese tourists as it opened in 1950s. We don't recommend this section as crowds walk shoulder by shoulder.
